Garden furniture is always a reflection of our habits, character, way of life. Garden furniture, also called patio furniture and outdoor furniture, is a type of furniture specifically designed for outdoor use. Garden furniture is different from that which is intended for indoor use. It was created specifically to be used in areas of open type or in the open air. For example, a place where you would normally put the garden furniture, a terrace, gazebo, tent, etc. Durability of Furniture subjected to such influences as precipitation, sunlight, temperature, accordingly, its material and coating must resist the external environment. Remember that garden furniture should be not just beautiful and comfortable, but also to withstand adverse weather effects, it should have little weight, so that if necessary it can be moved to another location.

The initial idea of this project is to integrate the house in the natural environment of the residential area in which it is. In that way, the house looks to the fantastic views of lakes and green extensions that spread over the common areas of the estate. The structures house is based on game of two rectangular volumes. They are solving with clean finishes, good materials and exclusive qualities. The verandas and the pergolas, elements as volumetric as the housing, give personality to the facade. The covering as such disappears turning into a flat roof as expression of the evolution of the creative process. The forms purity moves to the constructive scheme, to the materials and to the environment impelling the union between the building and the context where it is located.

The housing, of 800m2 of surface, develops in a height. The principal access adapts itself to an area of average slope.Inside the following stays are located: foyer, room of kitchen is, dining room, office, larder, a cleaning of courteousness, seven bedrooms (with his respective baths, two dressing-rooms and a patio. In the later part, across big large windows, there is lounge that is opened for the garden, the swimming pool and for the natural scenery that offers the urban development. It surrounds itself with a landscaping realized with attractive interventions composed by lakes, birds and a big arboreal extension. In the exterior the pedestrian ways and the central landscaped area incorporate a vegetation of indigenous character, resistant to the climate of the area. The stockades of every plot and the trees and shrubs planted along the same ones, they delimit perfectly the transit between the private ownership and the community one. The Viral Factory, an awarded digital agency from London, recently had to come up with a creative advertising campaign for the Activision Game BLUR. Their idea: a “collection” of 3D street art works, placed in major cities in Europe, including Berlin, London and Madrid. For this advertising campaign, world renowned artists were asked to “give a hand”. Unfortunately we do not have any statistics regarding how much this promotion action managed to sale so far, but one thing is certain- no one has to worry about the notoriety of the game. The fact that some people interact with the brand in a conscious way can do wonders. What do you think of this idea?

Relaxation can be achieved in a variety of forms. For today we put together a collection of 30 amazing bathroom designs that are meant to release pressure. Whether it is the shape of the bathtub that makes a difference, the inspiring decorative objects or the view that can be admired, these bathrooms all have something in common with relaxation. Some interiors are rich in green arrangements, which add freshness and invigorate the place. We also tried to find a few bathroom designs that have a special color theme. We noticed that wood has a great effect in modern decors- take the first picture for example- as it adds authenticity and personality.

Windows are also of major importance, as they have a huge influence on the aesthetics and atmosphere of a room. Diagonal windows add a dramatic touch and are welcomed in case there is an inclined wall near by. Most of the bathrooms in the pictures below are modern, but you will also notice a few classic elements that combine perfectly with the contemporary arrangements. Integrated in a breathtaking natural landscape in Ocoa, Chile, “Casa La Campana” comes from architects Alejandro Dumay Claro and Francisco Vergara Arthur. The challenge of the project was to emphasize on the indoor-outdoor connection and basically take advantage of the surrounding views. In the same time, the house had to be an energy efficient building. The results- a sustainable living space, with a spectacular and original shape, perfectly integrated in the village scenery. Moreover, the residence has a huge covered patio with playful outdoor furniture and a special barbecue area. The interiors are spacious, with windows from floor to ceiling, letting out a rustic and warm feel.-via Platforma Arquitectura
